Manchester United fans in disbelief at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decision vs Chelsea

Manchester United fans cannot believe that Anthony Martial has been named on the bench for today's FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.

United are looking to book their place against Arsenal in the final with a win against Frank Lampard's men. United have already beaten Chelsea on three occasions this season and are unbeaten in their last 19 fixtures in all competitions.

With United still fighting for a place in the top four, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has rested a number of players for the game at Wembley, with Martial, Mason Greenwood and Paul Pogba dropping to the bench.

Daniel James comes into the side and is expected to partner Marcus Rashford up front, supported by a midfield trio of Bruno Fernandes, Fred and Nemanja Matic.

Martial is enjoying his finest season to date for United and fans are bemused by the decision to bench him in such an important fixture.

The Frenchman has history in FA Cup semi-finals, scoring and assisting in a 2-1 win against Everton in 2016, and fans feel Solskjaer has taken a massive risk by not starting the in-form striker.

Manchester United team to face Chelsea: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Bailly, Williams; Fred, Matic, Fernandes; James, Rashford.
