Manchester United fans have identified Edwin Van der Sar as a dream candidate to become the club's new sporting director.
United have shown an interest in appointing a technical director at the club who can help with the club's transfer business, and fresh reports suggest Van der Sar is a target for the club.
The former United goalkeeper is currently in a similar role at Ajax and after their sensational season last year many fans think he could be the perfect fit at Old Trafford.
Ajax won the Eredivise last season as well as reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League and Van der Sar's recruitment has been partly credited for their recent resurgence.
Now supporters have called for his appointment following the latest batch of rumours.
