Manchester United fans identify new first team talent after U23s win

Manchester United fans are getting excited about the future prospects of summer signing Hannibal Mejbri.

The club spent nearly £10million in the summer to secure the services of the midfielder from AS Monaco and fans are already impressed with what they have seen.

The 16-year-old has already made two cameos for Neil Wood's under-23s side. He got half an hour in the defeat to Aston Villa in September but it was in the 4-1 win against Middlesbrough on Monday night that he really made an impact.

United were 2-1 up at the Riverside when Wood brought Mejbri on with 15 minutes to go and the teenager helped secure all three points with a dominant performance.

He was unlucky not to score seconds after coming on with a deflected shot from the edge of the area that forced a good save from the Boro goalkeeper and it was his sublime ball to Tahith Chong out on the left which really caught the eye of the supporters.

Get him in the first team.

Real talent.

One to watch out for.

Didn't take long for the comparisons.

A real talent.

What a player.

Some talent.

Looks class.
