Manchester United fans want to see Fred come into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first-choice midfield after the Brazilian impressed on his first appearance of the season against Leicester.
Fred was given his first minutes of the campaign in the absence of the injured Paul Pogba, and he came off the bench for the final 23 minutes in the 1-0 win.
With Pogba absent, Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata started against Leicester, but Matic and Mata failed to really impose themselves on the game and were both substituted.
So as United fans look forward to a busy autumn which will see Europa League football start to impact the fixture list, they identified Fred as a perfect partner for McTominay, allowing Pogba to adopt a more advanced role when he returns.
