Manchester United fans have hijacked one of Raphael Varane's social media posts amid transfer links to Old Trafford.
The MEN revealed in May that United were holding talks with Varane and it's thought that those negotiations are progressing, with Real Madrid willing to sanction an exit for the Frenchman, who is now heading into the final year of his contract at the Bernabeu.
Varane played at this summer's European Championship with France alongside friend and potential new teammate Paul Pogba.
But the pair's efforts at the competition were ultimately in vain when Switzerland prevailed in the last 16 clash to progress.
That condemned World Cup winners France to an early exit from Euro 2020 and Varane has since taken a holiday before the new season commences, although he might have been surprised to see United fans flock to the comments of one of his posts.

Hundreds of supporters commented on Varane's holiday post to encourage him to sign for United.
"United is waiting for you," one fan wrote.
"Then flight over to Manchester," and "welcome to Manchester United," others commented.
It's been reported in Spain that Madrid will demand £50m to sell Varane this summer, though.
