Manchester United fans have suggestion after Paul Pogba Real Madrid swap reports

Manchester United fans seem hugely in favour of the club cashing in on Paul Pogba and getting Spanish maestro Isco in return, after reacting to the latest transfer rumour surrounding the Frenchman.

Although MEN Sport understands United do not want to sell Pogba, reports claimed that interested party Real Madrid were ready to offer £70million plus either Isco or Gareth Bale as part of a swap deal.

It was reported in Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo that Los Blancos are reluctant to meet United's asking price for Pogba and prefer to offer a player plus cash deal instead.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has previously indicated that he wanted Pogba to stay, though the Frenchman's agent Mina Raiola confirmed in a recent interview that the player wants a new challenge.

United's primary midfield targets are Newcastle's of Sporting Lisbon, though they may be persuaded to cash in on the mercurial Pogba — the club's top scorer last season — if the deal is right.

And it seems United fans are broadly in favour of accepting Isco as a make-weight in the potential deal. The diminutive playmaker is highly rated across Europe, though endured a difficult campaign last term, scoring just three league goals.

This is how United fans reacted to the rumour:

It remains to be seen whether United act on the apparent desire for Pogba to leave, as Solskjaer and his squad fly out to Australia for the first leg of their pre-season tour tonight (Sunday night). Pogba has not yet joined up for training, but United expect him to take part in the tour matches.
