Manchester United fans have tipped Jadon Sancho for a move to Old Trafford in the wake of Borussia Dortmund sacking Lucien Favre.
Dortmund and Sancho have struggled for consistency this season as they sit fifth in the Bundesliga, five points behind league leaders Bayern Munich.
Sancho was a priority transfer target for United during the summer window but the two clubs were unable to reach an agreement over his transfer fee. MEN Sport understands Sancho remains a target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
On the back of the most prolific season of his career, the England international is yet to score in the league this term, going nine appearances without finding the back of the net.
Dortmund parted ways with Favre following a 5-1 home defeat to Stuttgart on Saturday and United fans believe the dismissal could improve the chances of Sancho ending up at Old Trafford.
Sancho has previously vowed to turn his form around after admitting this season has been difficult following the elongated transfer saga involving United.
He told DAZN: "I am just happy that I am playing. I have coaches and teammates that believe in me. Recently, it's been a hard situation for me. But it's all about how I come back and have performances like this [against Brugge]. They will hopefully get me back to the top, how I was playing before."
