Manchester United fans have Cristiano Ronaldo theory after Instagram posts

Some Manchester United fans have decided that there is a hidden meaning behind the club's most recent Instagram posts involving Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portugal international has been linked with a move away from Juventus this summer after the Italian giants finished in fourth place last year, with new manager Max Allegri looking to rebuild the squad.

With the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star now 36-years-old, his wages make his options for a potential move limited but that hasn't stopped him being linked with a move back to Old Trafford on a regular basis. And some United fans are now getting carried away with excitement after the club posted the famous number 7 on their socials.

Some fans seem to believe that because United keep posting old clips of Ronaldo because they're planning on bringing him back this summer and this is their way of hinting that a move could be done.

One account commented "seeing a lot of Ronaldo from United recently", while another said "posting loads of Ronaldo content I see".

Ronaldo is currently playing at Euro 2020 with Portugal and is the tournament's top goalscorer after two games with three goals to his name, extending his record as the competition's all-time top scorer with 12. The MEN understands a move for the United great is unlikely.
