Manchester United fans have come up with a theory after it was claimed that ed Woodward was travelling to Paris on the Eurostar.
A picture, posted by Twitter user G4llagher emerged on social media on Tuesday morning, claiming that the chief executive was on his way to the French capital, leading to speculation as to why he was making the trip.
The January transfer window has caused a lot of speculation around players linked to Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United, one such player who all four clubs have been credited with an interest in is Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare.
The French club's chief Gerard Lopez has said that Jose Mourinho has shown an interest in the 20-year-old, with Arsenal and Chelsea also said to be keeping an eye on the situation.
Reports have also said that Manchester United have joined the race for the youngster, and sent scouts to watch Lille's match against Dijon, a game in which Soumare was shown red.
After the picture of Woodward was posted, Red Devils fans were coming up with theories as to why the chief would be travelling to France, and one name kept coming up, with fans thinking that a deal to take Soumare to Old Trafford could be edging closer.

Soumare has played 18 Ligue 1 games this season for Lille and seems to be attracting interest from a number of clubs during January.
