Manchester United fans have a message for BT Sport about Liverpool FC great Steve McManaman

Manchester United were taking on Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-final second leg on Tuesday evening.

United went into the game 1-0 down from the first leg and were quickly up against it as Lionel Messi turned on the style.

Messi took advantage of some static defending to slot home after 16 minutes before a horrendous David De Gea error saw Messi add his second as the ball squirmed under the Spanish stopper.

Man United fans at home watching the game were relying on the BT Sport commentary to bring them insight and fair assessment of the play.

However, one man who United supporters weren't too keen to hear from was Steve McManaman.

During his playing career, McManaman became a household name playing for the rivals of both teams facing off on Wednesday night, starting his career at Liverpool before moving on to Real Madrid and finishing up his days with Manchester City.

McManaman has now been on co-commentary duty for the last few Champions League ties and fans are getting fed up of listening to him.

Here is the best reaction from social media.
