Manchester United fans have a concern after team vs Man City revealed

Manchester United fans were left questioning the decision to include Jesse Lingard in their team to play Man City tonight.

United play City for the third time this season, as they look to overturn a 3-1 deficit in the Carabao Cup semi final tie at the Etihad Stadium.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made four changes from the team he picked to play against Tranmere in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday — when Lingard scored in a 6-0 triumph.

United are again playing five at the back, with Lingard among those to keep his place, as Solskjaer looks to pull off another miraculous comeback as United manager.

City boss Pep Guardiola warned his players before the game that United have the ability to turn the tie around.

"It is Man United. They can do it," he said."We have to do almost a perfect to go through to the final.

"In this kind of games against this kind of teams with incredible history behind. They have pride and I know how difficult it will be to reach the final."

Many United fans said they couldn't wait to see new signing Bruno Fernandes in the side, while others called for Juan Mata instead of Lingard.

Here's what supporters said about United's team on social media:

United's line-up: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Williams; Matic, Fred, Lingard; Greenwood, Martial.

Subs: Romero, Bailly, Dalot, Jones, Pereira, James, Mata.

Youngsters Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong travelled with the provisional squad to the game but have not made the match-day 18.
