Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Harry Maguire from Leicester City for a world-record fee for a defender.
Maguire has headed to Old Trafford after a fee of £80milliion was agreed between the two clubs. The England international has penned a six-year contract at United as he becomes their third signing of the summer.
“I am delighted to have signed for this great club," Maguire told the club's official site.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Leicester and would like to thank everyone at the club, and the fans, for their fantastic support over the past two seasons.
"However, when Manchester United come knocking on your door, it is an incredible opportunity."
