Some Manchester United fans reacted with disappointment after Juan Mata was named in Manchester United's team to face Norwich on Saturday afternoon.
Mata has been a peripheral figure for the Reds this term, starting just five Premier League games, but has been given a chance to impress against the Canaries.
The Spaniard has a good record against Norwich, having scored five goals and assisted two in eight previous appearances for Chelsea and United.
However, his impact has diminished in recent times and he has directly contributed to just three goals in 20 appearances for United this season.
United fans made their frustration clear when the team was announced an hour before the 3pm kick-off, with some suggesting Mason Greenwood should've started instead.
Greenwood, 18, has contributed to 14 goals in 27 appearances for United across all competitions this term but has to settle for a place on the bench against Norwich.
