These are your Manchester United evening headlines for Sunday, October 16.

Manchester United player ratings vs Newcastle

David de Gea

Diogo Dalot

Off the pace and, as the only outfield player to have started every game, possibly overplayed. Mildly improved in the second-half. 6

Raphael Varane

One of the handful of players who looked affronted by Newcastle riding roughshod over United. Led the backline well again. 7
