Manchester United fans were in jubilant mood after watching Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes star for Portugal during their victory over Luxembourg on Tuesday.
Ronaldo scored a hat-trick, the tenth of his international career whilst Fernandes bagged an assist and a goal of his own as the Portuguese ran riot in a 5-0 victory.
United haven’t been in the best of form recently, winning just two of their last six in all competitions, and face a tricky trip to Leicester City on Saturday.
The Reds will be without first-choice centre-backs Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane, but with their Portuguese duo in such fantastic form fans will have renewed confidence they can still get all three points from the King Power Stadium.
