Manchester United fans disagree on Eric Bailly's future after agent comments

Manchester United supporters are split on whether Eric Bailly should stay at Old Trafford following comments from the player's agent.

Bailly's representative Graziano Battistini has been very open about his client's future at the club, with the central defender linked with a move away from United. The 26-year-old was linked with AC Milan over the summer transfer window, and despite staying put, he could seek a way out in the near future.

The Ivory Coast centre-back hasn't featured under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since the 6-1 thrashing at the hands of Tottenham on October 4, with injuries once again providing a problem.

His agent has now revealed that Bailly could be looking for a route out of Old Trafford, with his client having limited playing time in Manchester.

“The boy is in an important context such as that of United, before evaluating an exit there must be absolutely valid situations," Battistini told Calciomercato.it. “The Milan idea may have a logic, but we need to evaluate many implications, today we are talking about nothing.”

Bailly's contract expires in June 2022 but these comments from his agent suggest a potential parting of ways earlier than that day. United supporters seem torn on whether they should keep the former Villarreal man, or if they should cash in now whilst they have the chance.

Bailly is currently on international duty with the Ivory Coast national team and despite travelling, he wasn't named in the squad for Thursday's win over Madagascar due to injury concerns.

The Elephants play Thursday's opponents again on Tuesday, and it is not known yet whether the United central defender will be named in the matchday squad.
