Manchester United fans criticise Solskjaer over use of Mason Greenwood

Manchester United ended their Molineux losing streak but left the West Midlands feeling disappointed on Monday night after missing out on the chance to move up to top spot in the Premier League.

United took the lead through Anthony Martial and had the chance to win the game from the penalty spot after Ruben Neves had equalised, but Paul Pogba's spot-kick was saved by Rui Patricio.

The Frenchman has now missed four penalties in the Premier League since the beginning of last season - more than any other player in the competition.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer turned to his substitutes' bench in an attempt to win the match in the closing stages, with Juan Mata coming on in the 81th minute before Mason Greenwood and Andreas Pereira entered the fray in the 89th minute.

There was barely any time for the likes of Greenwood and Pereira to impact the match and some fans questioned Solskjaer's decision to introduce teenager Greenwood so late on in proceedings.

He needs more time.

Ludicrous and ridiculous.

Solskjaer got it wrong.

Scared.

He needed to come on earlier.

There were two players he could've come on for.

Get Gomes in the team too.

It's simple.
