Manchester United fans convinced Jack Grealish has dropped transfer hint on social media

Manchester United fans are convinced Jack Grealish has dropped a hint that he would like to sign for them at the end of the season.

United are interested in a move for the 24-year-old Aston Villa captain in the summer window and view Grealish as a more attainable option than James Maddison.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on adding the midfielder's tenacity and creativity to his squad in the coming months, and it seems like Grealish is keen on a move too.

Taking to social media on Thursday evening many eagle-eyed United fans spotted Grealish had 'liked' the latest Instagram upload from the official club account, a throwback post to their opening day win over Chelsea.

The supposed transfer hint comes at the same time former United midfielder Johnny Giles has backed Solskjaer's side to sign the Aston Villa star this year.

“Grealish has a lot of qualities, including the ability to go past people when he is one-on-one," Giles told The Mirror.

"You don’t see much of that nowadays and it really opens up defences when you have someone like that.

“He has the potential to really go a long way in the game.

“But fulfilling it is always another matter. I hope, for his sake and his family, he does, but he has to be careful because he could get a reputation.”
