Manchester United fans beg for Paul Pogba return after dismal performance vs Crystal Palace

Manchester United fans are desperate for the return of Paul Pogba after a dismal team performance against Crystal Palace.

The Frenchman has missed United 's last seven games in all competitions, with the Reds winning three and drawing four of them.

Pogba 's absence has been felt in recent weeks as United have won just one of their four Premier League games without him, a run that has firmly ended their title challenge.

With United failing to penetrate the Crystal Palace defence, some supporters pointed to the absence of Pogba as the key to their poor form.

United are hopeful Pogba will recover from injury before the international break, at the end of March.

United host AC Milan in the first leg of their Europa League round-of-16 tie next week, with the visit of West Ham sandwiched between the European legs prior to an FA Cup quarter-final at Leicester on March 21.

The Leicester tie is United's last fixture in March and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Pogba's rehabilitation is focused on him hitting the ground running for when he does return.

"I hope we will, definitely," Solskjaer said. "And he’s very positive. He’s working really hard. He knows when he gets back we haven’t got two or three games to play him into form, so he’s working hard on his fitness. And when you’ve got the quality of Paul fitness is the main thing."
