Manchester United fans aren't all buying Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's defence of Paul Pogba

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer defended Paul Pogba during his first pre-season press conference on Wednesday morning, despite recent comments from the player and his agent confirming his desire to leave Manchester United.

Real Madrid and Juventus are both keen to sign the World Cup-winning midfielder and Pogba said last month that he is eyeing 'a new challenge' away from Old Trafford.

Talk of a move away has intensified in recent days after Mino Raiola reiterated his client's stance in an interview with The Times over the weekend.

However, Solskjaer was unwilling to discuss Raiola's remarks as he praised Pogba's professionalism since returning from his summer holidays,

"Paul's never been a concern for me, when he's on the pitch, he's working hard, he's a true professional, he's a proud boy," Solskjaer said.

"Same answer again, I can't be sitting here talking about Paul and what agents are saying. We've got a few years left of his contract and he's been fantastic since he's come back for training."

Some supporters weren't having any of it though and responded with their thoughts on Twitter.

Good one.

Nothing to worry about.

This wouldn't go down well.

It wouldn't be surprising.

Where's the common sense?

Aren't you forgetting something, Ole?
