Manchester United fans are saying the same thing about Paul Pogba to Real Madrid transfer reports

Paul Pogba's future remains near the top of the agenda at Manchester United this summer.

The Frenchman endured an up-and-down season at Old Trafford, shining in the two months following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's arrival but mostly toiling in the periods of the season either side of that purple patch.

Pogba continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid and Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda said earlier this week that a deal is close to being agreed.

"Pogba is practically done, the first to appear [at Madrid] will be Hazard and the next will be Pogba, he has agreed to lower Manchester's salary: from 15million net per year to 12," Inda wrote in his El Chiringuito column.

"I think we are talking about between 156 and 170 million euros."

The MEN understands United have no intention of selling the midfielder this summer and Solskjaer remains confident the 26-year-old will still be at United next season despite incessant speculation over a move to Real Madrid.

But it's fair to say some United fans welcomed the rumour that he might be on his way.
