Manchester United fans have been blessed with a brand new bromance at the club as Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes shared their love for each other on social media following the Leeds United game.
The Reds thrashed Leeds 5-1 at Old Trafford on the opening day of the Premier League season thanks to a Fernandes hat-trick and four Pogba assists in a stunning display of top quality and excellent attacking football.
The duo followed that performance up by posting an image of themselves together in the dressing room after the game, posing with each other's celebrations to show just how close they've become.
Reds fans saw Pogba do Fernandes' trademark covering of the ears on the pitch after the Portuguese midfielder scored against Leeds but the two re-enacted it for Instagram and sent fans wild.
Pogba's future at the club is in doubt as he entered the final year of his contract and there is interest from Paris Saint-Germain, but there pursuit of the 28-year-old World Cup winner has been shelved after they completed the signing of Lionel Messi from Barcelona.
Should the Frenchman not agree a new contract with the club as they hope, he will be free to talk to potential new clubs from January 1st 2022 and could leave on a free transfer next summer.
Fernandes however is happy and settled at the club and fans are hopeful that he can use his form and friendship to convince Pogba to stay and sign a new deal at Old Trafford.
