Youri Tielemans looks set to become a Leicester City player once again after an impressive loan spell last season.
Reports suggest that Tielemans, 22, has agreed a deal to sign permanently for Brendan Rodgers' side, for a fee in the region of £40million.
The Belgian midfielder was on Manchester United's radar this summer as they look to add midfield reinforcements. Tielemans, however, was some way down the list of targets in order of priority.
Manchester City were also linked with a move for the 22-year-old but it appears that was nothing more than paper talk.
This latest development could give United some hope in their pursuit of Harry Maguire and push them closer towards a deal for Newcastle youngster Sean Longstaff.
Longstaff is valued at around £25m by the managerless Toon hierarchy, despite only breaking into the first team last Christmas.
