Fans tuning in to watch Manchester United's this afternoon will have switched on their screens and been utterly perplexed.
Few can understand why United are wearing their pink away kit, with black shorts — instead of their home strip of red shirts and black shorts — against the blue and white of the Toffees.
United's pink kit has been fairly popular with supporters this season. They wore it while beating Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 on a famous Champions league night earlier in the campaign.
But judging from the reaction on social media, not many people are happy with the pink making a very strange return . United have historically worn red in away games at Everton down the years.
