Manchester United fans are all saying the same thing about Max Allegri

Some Manchester United fans appear to be wondering what might have been after Juventus confirmed Max Allegri will depart the club at the end of the season.

The Italian champions announced on Friday afternoon that first-team manager Allegri would be leaving the club at the end of the current season.

United had originally planned to make a decision on their own managerial vacancy in the summer window, but changed their plans to appoint Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the end of March.

The United legend had overseen an incredible start to his life as the club's caretaker manager with his stock reaching it's peak following the monumental comeback against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

United fans are still very much behind the Norweigan, but after a trophyless season and a sixth-place finish in the Premier League some have wondered why they didn't hold out until the end of the campaign before making such a big decision.
