Manchester United fans are all asking the same question after bizarre Almeria transfer tweet

Manchester United fans are all asking the same question after the club were trolled in a bizarre tweet by Spanish side UD Almeria.

The La Liga team took to social media on Monday afternoon to announce the signing of Arvin Appiah from Nottingham Forest, but used the opportunity to mock United.

Almeria posted a picture of the deadline-day signing to their Twitter account along with the caption: "Sorry Man Utd Arvin Appiah is red and white."

Prior to his move to Almeria it had been tentatively suggested by some news outlets that United were interested in signing the 18-year-old earlier in the summer window.

However, it is not believed United were ever seriously interested in signing Appiah, and, to make the situation even more awkward, very few fans actually know who the striker even is.

The tweet which started it all.

Good question.

Guess who.

Baffled.

Very odd.

Basically.
