Manchester United fans appear to change transfer stance on Bruno Fernandes

After months of longing and wishing for Manchester United to sign Bruno Fernandes it now seems some fans have changed their mind.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men were linked with a move for Fernandes all summer long as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted to add a midfielder to his squad following the loss of Ander Herrera.

The creative midfielder scored 32 goals as he captained Sporting to Portuguese Cup glory and then helped his country become the inaugural Nations League champions.

The 24-year-old was the name on everybody's lips and when deadline day came and went without United making a move the disappointment was palpable.

While a great number of fans are still hoping that the club change their stance on the midfielder, others have begun to change their minds after watching his performance in Portugal's recent 4-2 win over Serbia.

Fernandes didn't have a great showing and some fans believe United may have made the correct call in not breaking the bank to sign him.
