Manchester United fans all think Marcus Rashford knew what he was doing with Jadon Sancho tweet

Manchester United are preparing for a busy transfer window as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to bolster his squad for next season.

United are on the hunt for a central defensive partner for Harry Maguire, a right-sided forward and a central midfielder, while Atletico Madrid full-back Kieran Trippier is back on their radar.

Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho is a player who remains of interest to United, 12 months on from being unable to secure an agreement with the Bundesliga side.

With Dortmund's focus this year being on retaining the services of Erling Haaland for another season, Sancho is available and United are near the front of the queue.

Should United go all out to sign Jadon Sancho? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

A familiar issue this summer though in pursuit of top players is the European Championship, which means deals are likely to be put on hold until after the tournament concludes.

That will be the case with Sancho, who is on duty with England for the tournament as the Three Lions look to build upon their semi-final achievement at the World Cup three years ago.

While on duty, Sancho is around a number of United players who are also representing Gareth Southgate's squad this summer and Marcus Rashford is among them - and fans feel Rashford knew exactly what he was doing when he shared a picture of the pair in training together on social media

Posting a picture on Twitter, Rashford accompanied his image with the caption 'little bro', tagging his compatriot and adding a love heart emoji onto the end.

Should Sancho arrive at United this summer, he will find plenty of recognisable faces with Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire also among his England colleagues.
