Manchester United fans all say the same thing about Newcastle United ahead of crunch clash

Newcastle United host Manchester United tonight hoping to extend their four-point lead over the 13-time Premier League winners.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have had a difficult start to the season, suffering a humiliating 6-1 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur last time out.

Newcastle, meanwhile, have been in steady, if unspectacular, form under Steve Bruce, with seven points being recorded from their opening four games.

The visit of the Old Trafford club is always a highly anticipated fixture, though it won’t quite be the same without fans at St James’ Park.

Here’s what the Red Devils fans have been saying about Newcastle ahead of this evening’s game on social media…

Lee Ryder's reaction to Steve Bruce's Manchester United press conference

Emma: “Going away to Newcastle is always tough I just hope Ole gets his tactics spot on if not it will be a long weekend for him. #MUFC.”

Max: “Absolutely petrified at what #mufc will turn up this Saturday. An 8pm ko away to Newcastle, under the lights, fans roaring (from home), it’ll be a tough game.”

Yafet Surafel: “No Bailly is fine Telles has already trained with the group he's not being rested, but Newcastle away is a tricky game I don't think playing a diamond is going to work.”

R0ykeane: “Massive game... for Ole in particular...not sure what waking up nervous about Newcastle away in the midst of a global pandemic says about someone but here we are.”

Martial FC: “I’m prepared for all sorts of pain this season, I’m even dreading Newcastle away on Saturday.”

Joe Sillett: “If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer selects Harry Maguire this Saturday against Newcastle, he will be signing his own death warrant as Manchester United manager. Maguire looks like a sportsman with the weight of the world on his shoulders. He needs time away from the game. #MUFC.”

Emma Edgar: “Away to Newcastle tomorrow.. Newcastle threats Callum Wilson since he joined Newcastle he had an impact, saint maximin? Can we stop Matty Longstaff getting a third goal against us?”

Dan: “I was there for the last away game at Newcastle and it can’t be as bad as that day...so...going 3-2 for us. Donny to start and put in a MoM performance.”

Ryan K: Honestly, with all the bad press right now, I wouldn't put it past United to proper blast Newcastle away and go on a winning run now. Has been a trend with Ole's charge.”

James Gillespie: “Well, we need to start climbing up the league .. from where I am watching it’s gonna be as much of a struggle climbing the league table as much climbing the stairs in St James park.”
