A Manchester United supporter has revealed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sent him a heartwarming letter after speaking out about his personal struggles.
Ryan was suffering with mental health problems, as he revealed to talkSPORT a few weeks ago, so he got involved with Andy's Man Club - presenter's Andy Goldstein's charity.
When the United supporter appeared on the radio show, it was such a touching moment that the club's press officer contacted Goldstein to get Ryan's details.
Ryan revealed that he received a letter from Solskjaer and just what the United boss said to him.
He said: "Dear Ryan, just wanted to drop you a line to say: I'm so glad you're doing well.
"It was heartwarming to hear that Manchester United and Andy's Man Club have kept you going through difficult times. We are living in strange times at the moment and I know it's difficult for a lot of people.
"However, I was delighted to hear that you now have a spring in your step. Once we get back to normal, I'd love to invite you to a match or to watch training.
"In the meantime, we want you to keep that spring in your step, so we'll be doing everything we can on the field. Take care, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer."
Describing the letter, Ryan couldn't believe the gesture the club and the United manager had made and revealed how emotional he got.
"I did do a wee little video on YouTube reading it and I got a bit emotional, I am now a bit emotional," he said. "It was incredible. They didn't have to do that - and they have - it just shows how incredible this club is."
