Manchester United face competition from Bayern and PSG for Victor Osimhen and more transfer rumours

Manchester United reportedly face competition from several sides for Napoli ace Victor Osimhen, with the Reds keen to sign the frontman in the upcoming transfer window.

According to Calcio Mercato, the Reds can expect competition from Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain for Osimhen. The Napoli striker is claimed to be a 'dream signing' for United, but the two European giants are willing to 'break in' on the deal.

MEN Sport reported last November that Osimhen is one of the strikers Erik ten Hag is considering a move for in the summer, with the Nigerian star enjoying an impressive campaign in Italy.

Osimhen has registered 21 goals and four assists in 26 appearances for Luciano Spalletti's side this season. He recently admitted that it is his "dream" to play in the Premier League amid United's interest in his signature.

Elsewhere, talkSPORT have claimed the Reds are keen on Ajax star Mohammed Kudus, as previously reported by MEN Sport last month. The 22-year-old Ghana ace has registered 17 goals and four assists in 34 appearances for the Dutch giants this term. Kudus has played under Ten Hag on 42 occasions - and the current United manager would be pleased to reunite with the attacker.

MEN Sport understands Ten Hag wants at least two significant signings in the summer to maintain United's momentum next season, with the club prioritising a new goalscorer. The Reds manager believes Kudus has the attributes to excel in the Premier League, while United are long-time admirers of Tottenham talisman Harry Kane.

Kudus courted attention at the recent World Cup in Qatar as he scored twice in a group stage victory over South Korea. It is thought that Everton were in for the forward last summer, while Premier League rivals Liverpool have also been linked with a move for the 22-year-old.
