Manchester United are reportedly set to be in a battle if they are to hire Mauricio Pochettino this summer.
The PSG manager has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for several years now.
However, the Daily Telegraph are reporting that if the Red Devils want to hire him they will be in for a fight.
It is believed that an unnamed Champions League club are also interested in making Pochettino their new head coach if he was to leave the French capital at the end of the season.
Meanwhile United are reportedly tracking Anderlecht youngster Sergio Gomez.
The 21-year-old is impressing at Vincent Kompany's side and the left-back has already notched up 13 assists and scored an impressive six goals from defence in 28 appearances.
According to TeamTalk, United might be in for a tough battle to secure his signature.
Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea are also thought to be interested in the player who joined the Belgian side from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.
It is believed that the Blues will not be planning a bid for him in January so United could nip in this month to get the deal done.
Elsewhere, the Daily Star are reporting that Burnley are interested in signing Phil Jones.
Jones made his return to the United starting eleven against Wolves and despite the game ending in defeat, the England international impressed many fans watching on from home.
Since then, Jones has failed to play and it is now thought he will be leaving Manchester sooner rather than later.
Sean Dyche is thought to be keen on signing Jones however United have placed a £15m price tag on the defender which the Clarets are unwilling to meet.
