Manchester United eyeing move for former Liverpool FC winger and more transfer rumours

Manchester United are keeping tabs on former Liverpool winger Rafael Camacho, according to reports.

The 19-year-old only left Liverpool in the summer after turning down a new contract and returning to Portugal to sign for Sporting in a £4.5million deal.

After a slow start Camacho has now established himself as a regular starter in Lisbon and his performances have set up a potential return to the Premier League.

According to Football Insider, several top English clubs have been impressed by the versatile Portuguese, who can play out wide, in midfield or at full-back, and United are one of the teams who have scouted him.

It's reported that Tottenham, Everton, Arsenal and Chelsea are also interested in Camacho, who made two senior appearances for Liverpool during his four years at the club.

Meanwhile, United are once again being linked with Kalidou Koulibaly.

Italian outlet Il Matino, via SportWitness, name United as one of the clubs ‘in the front row’ for Koulibaly, who continues to be the subject of speculation linking him with a move away from Napoli.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs are named as the other contenders for Koulibaly’s signature, with the report saying his future will depend on whether Napoli qualify for Europe or not.

The Italian side are currently tenth, nine points off the Champions League spots in Serie A.
