United sign youngsters from Rashford's old club
Manchester United are set to sign six young players from Fletcher Moss Rangers – the same junior side Marcus Rashford used to play for – MEN Sport has revealed.
The club have enjoyed huge success over the past few years and now some of their best young players under the age of 10 have been snapped up by United.
Fletcher Moss Rangers have a reputation for producing talent, with Jesse Lingard, Danny Welbeck and Wes Brown all having played for the club in their junior days, before going on to star for Manchester United.
The youngsters will join the club’s academy setup hoping to emulate the club’s current stars in years to come.
Coach Remi DeJonge feels it is a testament to the hard work put in by the club and the players themselves.
“As a club it shows we're doing something right. We’re giving kids a platform to show how good they are,” he told MEN Sport.
“Fletcher Moss itself has a huge reputation for doing just that in Manchester. There is a sense of pride and honour.”
Pereira loan recall

he Portuguese youngster endured a difficult time in the Scottish capital, conceding 43 times in 25 league outings as Hearts finished bottom of the table.
The 23-year-old, who turns 24 next month, has just 12 months remaining on his current Manchester United contract and it remains unclear as to whether or not the club will offer him a new deal..
