Manchester United evening headlines as Dembele refuses to rule out summer move

Here are your Manchester United evening headlines for Friday, August 21.

Lyon striker not ruling out summer move amid previous United interest

Lyon striker Moussa Dembele is not ruling out a move away from the Ligue 1 side this summer after previous interest from United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were credited with interest in the striker last summer although a move failed to materialise.

MEN Sport understands that the 24-year-old has not ruled out the possibility of moving this summer after scoring two vital goals in the Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City.

While sources close to the player admit that ‘he is not desperate to move’, several clubs including United could reignite their interest in the current window.

Rojo returns to England ahead of summer transfer decision

Marcos Rojo has returned to England amid continued uncertainty over his future at Manchester United.

The Argentine defender made just one appearance during a loan spell with Estudiantes due to injury and an early end to the campaign.

United have tried to sell the defender in four previous summer transfer windows and will allow him to leave this summer if the right offer comes in.

Tromso bids farewell to new United signing

Norwegian side Tromso have bid farewell to youngster Isak Hansen-Aaroen with official confirmation of a move to United expected on Saturday.

The teenager turns 16 tomorrow which means that the Reds can work around already announcing their initial intake of first-year academy players.

Following his departure from Tromso, the club wished Hansen-Aaroen the best of luck at United.

The club wrote on Instagram: "A wonderful person. A unique football talent. Who just loves to play football now.

"From Fløya to TIL as a junior, into the academy as a 10-year-old, learns at the TIL school and debut for the first team as a 15-year-old. Assist in his last match for Tromsø IL, this time.

"Thank you so much for the last ten years and good luck in Manchester United and on your career.”
