Nemanja Matic says Manchester United have to target double silverware under Ralf Rangnick this season.
Having come under heavy pressure before the November break, former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was finally sacked last month and, initially, replaced by Rangnick on an interim basis.
Solskjaer lost his job with the club's Premier League title hopes already in tatters.
United have also been eliminated from the Carabao Cup, but progression in the Champions League can be paired with a quest for FA Cup glory - according to Matic.
Rangnick is preparing to take charge for the fourth time on Monday night as United take on Newcastle.
Their last two fixtures were postponed due to a Covid-19 outbreak which, temporarily, forced them to shut down operations at Carrington, but United continue to learn from their innovative German coach.
Matic has made eight appearances in the Premier League this season and was named captain by Rangnick for the Champions League draw with Young Boys.
Matic said: "We understand his ideas and what he wants to play. It's a bit of everything, not just pressing.
"You must be physically ready and play well tactically. We have enough talent in the squad to understand quickly and play how he wants. We want to finish in the top four and to win the Champions League and FA Cup.

"We will see, but that's our target."
Matic added: "In these games we are favourites, but we must show it on the pitch. Newcastle are in a bad position, but they are a big club with big players and they will fight to stay in the league."
