Luke Shaw has praised former teammate Andreas Pereira ahead of Manchester United's Premier League clash with Fulham on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds travel to Craven Cottage for their final competitive fixture before the season pauses for the World Cup in Qatar, with Erik ten Hag's side looking to get back to winning ways in the league after their disappointing defeat to Aston Villa last weekend.
Shaw, who was rested for the Carabao Cup victory over Villa in midweek, has insisted that Fulham will be no pushovers, suggesting that the Reds need to make a positive start to the game.

The left-back will come up against his former teammate Pereira on Sunday, with the 26-year-old having joined the London outfit from the Reds in the summer. The Brazilian midfielder, who made his debut for United in 2014 and played 75 times for the club, signed a four-year deal with Marco Silva's side.
"They’ve got a really good manager [and] really good players," Shaw said of Fulham. "Obviously it’s nice to see Andreas [Pereira] there. He’s doing really well, and I think it’s going to be a very tough game.
"They’re a really good side but the most important thing is how we prepare for it [and] how we start the game."
Shaw also claimed that it was important to sign off with a positive result before the season pauses for the upcoming World Cup. He added: "I think it’s really crucial [to win]. With the result we had last weekend, I think we have to win this game.
"It’s important because of where we want to be towards the end of the season. After dropping points last week it’s a massive incentive to go and win this game."
Shaw is likely to start for Ten Hag's side against Fulham on Sunday afternoon, with the 27-year-old being preferred to Tyrell Malacia in recent weeks.
