Manchester United 'considering PSG star Thomas Meunier' as one of four right-back options

Manchester United have added Paris Saint-Germain's Thomas Meunier to their list of right-back options ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports.

United are also reportedly targeting Chelsea teenager Reece James, who has starred on loan for Wigan Athletic in the Championship this season.

This is all according to the Independent , who claim James and Meunier have been identified along with Crystal Palace youngster Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tottenham Hotspur's Kieran Trippier on a list of potential right-back signings.

With club captain Antonio Valencia expected to leave Old Trafford in the summer and Ashley Young turning 34 in the summer, it's inevitable that United will need to bolster their full-back areas.

According to Rai Sport, United are prepared to go big with their interest in the Napoli defender who MEN Sport understands is a target as the club look to recruit in central defence.

Outgoings wise, Ander Herrera's proposed move to PSG doesn't look the foregone conclusion that it previously did.

The Basque midfielder sees his United contract expire in the summer, with the French champions touted as overwhelming favourites to seal a deal, but reports in France cast doubt over that.

A report from Paris Team via Sport Witness , suggests the Spaniard’s ‘reluctance’ to commit to a move has annoyed PSG who are now 'agitated' and have started to consider alternatives.
