Manchester United confirm FA Cup quarter-final fixture details

Manchester United will resume their FA Cup campaign on Saturday, June, 27, it has been confirmed.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side face Norwich City in the quarter-finals and that fixture will take place at Carrow Road, with a 5.30pm kick-off. The tie will be shown live on BBC One.

United booked their place in the quarter-finals by beating Derby County 3-0 at Pride Park on Thursday, March 5, but just over a week later the 2019/20 season was suspended amid out the coronavirus outbreak.

But the Premier League season resumes in less than two weeks and the Football Association have confirmed the FA Cup quarter-finals will take place on the last weekend of June, with the semi-finals on the weekend of July 18 and 19 and the final on August 1.

All quarter-final fixtures will take place behind closed doors, with each club receiving a £350,000 broadcast fee, with £720,000 on offer to the club reaching the semi-finals.

The other three quarter-finals all take place on Sunday, June 28, with Arsenal visiting Sheffield United, Manchester City away at Newcastle and Chelsea travelling to Leicester City.

United's cup tie is sandwiched between their Old Trafford return against Sheffield United on Wednesday, June 24 (6pm), and the trip to Brighton on Tuesday, June 30 (8.15pm).

Both of those fixtures are live on Sky Sports, as is United's first Premier League game back, away at Tottenham Hotspur on Friday, June 19 (8.15pm).
