Manchester United have confirmed that the likes of Diogo Dalot, Donny van de Beek and Anthony Martial will be amongst those pushing for starts when they face West Ham United in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.
United, who defeated the Hammers 2-1 in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon at the London Stadium, are likely to ring the changes as they look to preserve their winning run at Old Trafford.
Following Sunday's dramatic victory in the capital, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that he would be making changes against David Moyes' side and that Jesse Lingard, who stepped off the bench to score the winner at the London Stadium, would be handed his first start of the season.
The former Hammers loanee has stepped off the bench in each of the last two Premier League matches and scored.
As well as Lingard, Dalot, van de Beek and Martial being in contention to start, Solskjaer is also likely to make a change in goal, despite David de Gea's heroics against the Hammers. Both Dean Henderson, who has recently been playing for the Under-23s, and Tom Heaton will be vying for the place between the sticks.
Elsewhere, centre-backs Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof will be pushing for starting berths, as will Juan Mata, who is yet to play a single minute worth of football in any capacity this season.
United have also confirmed that youngsters Teden Mengi, Hannibal Mejbri, Shola Shoretire and Anthony Elanga could enter the frame.
Meanwhile, Edinson Cavani could face a late check, but the contest is set to come far too soon for both Alex Telles and Marcus Rashford, who are both continuing to work their way back to full fitness.
