Manchester United have been drawn against Villarreal and Atalanta in the Champions League group stages.
United will face off against Villarreal - the team that beat them in last season’s Europa League Final - but they have avoided the likes of Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan in the Champions League draw.
The Red Devils will also take on Serie A side Atalanta and Swiss outfit Young Boys.

It was a favourable draw for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side considering they missed out on facing the likes of Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich in Pot 1, while Premier League rivals Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool were all unquestionably handed tougher groups.
United will be favourites to win their group - and at the very least, comfortably progress to the knockout stages - but the pressure will be on after a poor showing in last season’s group stages.
Solskjaer’s men finished third in Group H last year, with PSG and RB Leipzig finishing first and second respectively.
United beat PSG in Paris, but also lost to the French giants at home along with away defeats at Leipzig and Istanbul Basaksehir costing them - the latter game a particularly disappointing result.
Given that early exit last time around, United will have to be on their guard in a group that looks easy on paper, but could quickly become tricky if they do not respect their opponents.
