Manchester United unfortunately have still not solved the right-wing problem that has plagued them for years.
Most fans expected the transfer of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund to finally give United's attack some much-needed balance, but, unfortunately, the poor form of Marcus Rashford has seen the £73m winger deployed on the left in recent weeks.
And seeing how Sancho has thrived in this position and arguably been United's best player, it makes sense to continue to play the English winger on the left-hand side.
Rashford had been played on the right but his poor decision making and increasingly inconsistent form should be a worry for Ralf Rangnick and United and they may have to address these struggles by making moves to secure another winger in the summer.
Ajax's Antony has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and if United were to appoint Erik ten Hag as their next permanent manager, it may pave the way for a very quick reunion in the Premier League.
A number of Europe's top clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea have registered interest according to reports in Spain, so United may have to look to alternatives if they are serious about acquiring a winger in this window.
They may not have to look far, however. One potential candidate played against United in their pulsating 4-2 win over Leeds and even scored the second goal to briefly bring the scores level.
Raphinha has been nothing short of exceptional since he joined from Rennes and has constantly been a threat for Leeds and a standout player despite the club's struggles with form and injuries in the Premier League this season.
But with the Yorkshire club appearing to be inching ever closer to a relegation battle and with rumours circling around the potential departure of Marcelo Bielsa in the summer, who has yet to enter into talks over another contract extension, the Brazilian could look to take the next step in his career to compete in Europe.
Raphinha has nine goals and two assists in 22 games so far in the Premier League so would likely command a high fee but if Leeds were to get relegated, United would likely be able to negotiate a lower fee for the winger.
However, this would also alert the aforementioned European clubs and others to his situation as well.
United have a big transfer window ahead of them, where they are going to have to address a number of positions in the squad including a defensive midfielder, a striker and even a right-back to name a few, so a winger may not be top of their priority list but if they want to sign someone in that position, they could do a lot worse than raiding their old rivals for Raphinha.
