Welcome to the United On My Mind daily round-up, where we take a look at some of the best Manchester United stories that you might have missed.
Paul Pogba is yet to renew his deal at Old Trafford and it seems United have started assessing potential replacements for the World Cup winner.
Ralf Rangnick continues to dominate headlines, with Jurgen Klopp's agent the latest to have his say on the German's arrival at Old Trafford.
And finally, much like his compatriot Pogba, Anthony Martial's future remains up in the air and a swap deal with a Spanish club could be on the cards.
United identify Pogba replacement
Pogba's United future is hanging in the balance, with the 28-year-old yet to sign a new deal at the club.
It's looking increasingly likely that Pogba won't extend his stay at Old Trafford, meaning the club have been forced to search for potential replacements.
The Telegraph report that United are in the early stages of assessing potential midfield arrivals in the event that Pogba leaves on a free next summer.
The report adds that the Frenchman is 'undecided' on whether to remain in Manchester.
My opinion: Pogba can be brilliant on his day and is still a valuable asset to the United squad.
However, his agent doesn't seem capable of keeping his mouth shut and his outbursts have a habit of causing issues at United. If Pogba wanted to stay he would probably have signed a new deal by now. I think it's time to part ways.
Klopp's agent speaks about Rangnick
Rangnick's arrival in the Premier League caused quite a stir, not least because a number of current Premier League bosses cite him as a huge influence on their managerial careers.
Klopp is one of those who has taken inspiration from Rangnick, and the Liverpool boss' agent, who once represented Rangnick, has been speaking about United's interim manager.
“I was surprised that it finally happened. Ralf had at some point become self-employed as a consultant and had an interesting mandate at Lokomotiv Moscow," Marc Kosicke told Sport1 (via Sport Witness ).
“I’m happy for him. A top club in the Premier League - that was his lifelong dream. Here, too, I wish him almost maximum luck. As long as they always stay a place below Liverpool, that’s okay."
My opinion: It's quite nice, as a United fan, seeing Klopp's agent wish him luck. But he should be careful because if we continue picking up victories under Rangnick then who knows where we could end up in the table.
Swap deal touted for Martial
Since Martial's agent confirmed his client desire to leave United, there's been plenty of speculation around where he'll end up.
A host of clubs have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old and recent reports claim that Atletico Madrid have been given encouragement over a potential swap deal involving the Frenchman.
Eurosport claim Atletico could make a move for Martial in January and are expected to discuss the matter with United later this month.
Atletico will propose a swap deal as they look to lure Martial to La Liga, though there's no word on who they would be willing to offload.
My opinion: I think this could be a move that suits both parties. If Atleti are willing to include someone like Joao Felix or even Kieran Trippier in the deal then United's squad could receive a timely boost as they look to secure a place in next season's Champions League.
