Manchester United 'are Jadon Sancho's preferred transfer option'

Manchester United would be Jadon Sancho's 'preferred' destination if he was to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer, but any transfer is only rated as '50/50'.

That is according to BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein, who claims Sancho is among United's top targets this summer.

Speaking to BBC 5Live, Ornstein said United would be Sancho's preferred option from the Premier League, and a move was nailed on as little as two months ago.

But since then, Ornstein claims Sancho is reluctant to give up on Champions League football with Dortmund next season and does not want a join an unstable club, leaving his prospects of moving to United at '50/50.'

United would also face competition from PSG, Juventus, Real Madrid and Barcelona for Sancho's signature.

Ornstein also added United are interested in signing Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, and will battle Manchester City for the youngster.

Wan-Bissaka is 'very much' on United's radar, but the club also want to develop Diogo Dalot and Ethan Laird in the full-back positions.

Meanwhile, United could subsidise Alexis Sanchez’s £500,000-a-week wages if the Chilean joins Inter Milan on a season-long loan next season.

That’s according to the  Mirror, who say United are desperate to offload Sanchez following his disastrous 18-month spell.
