Manchester United appear to have confirmed their new home kit for the 2021/22 season.
It has been a busy week for United after the club confirmed they had reached an agreement on the signing of Jadon Sancho on Thursday and have now announced that Juan Mata will remain at the club.
The Spaniard's contract expired this week but he has now put pen to paper on a one-year extension that will take his stint at the club up to eight years come January.
United revealed the extension in a statement on their official website and did so using a picture of a smiling Mata who looks like he is wearing the club's next home kit.
The upcoming selection of Adidas kits for the forthcoming season are yet to be officially revealed by United, but several images of the home kit have 'leaked' in recent weeks.
The leaked images of the home jersey have depicted a predominately red shirt that has a white crew neck collar with white cuffs as well as German manufacture Adidas' traditional three stripes on each sleeve.
The picture of Mata appears to confirm that the leaked images are indeed correct, as it gives a glimpse of a red shirt with the white collar and three stripes.

More leaked details of the kit include suggest the shirt will have the words “Courage. Success. Youth.” on the inside of the collar, a golden devil on the back of the shirt just above where the players names will be and a woven crest on the front of the jersey with a border stitched around it.
Club legend Gary Neville isn't a fan of the design, however.
"I tend to love every United home kit but I don’t like this one at all! (if it is the home kit)," he tweeted upon seeing a picture of the rumoured shirt.
"Am I being harsh? Sponsor isn’t right, arms aren’t right and just feels basic without tapping into heritage. Agree or not[?]"
Neville is referring to the fact that as of next season, the club’s kits will see Team Viewer replace Chevrolet on the front of United’s shirts. The German technology company has recently signed a £265m deal with the Premier League’s most successful team to feature on their kits.
