Manchester United announce partnership with Konami for eFootball PES 2020 and beyond

Konami have announced that Manchester United have entered into a long-term partnership, starting with the upcoming eFootball PES 2020.

The partnership means that player likenesses, club badge, club name, club kits and more will all be included in the new game.

Old Trafford will also be included on the game, which was only available to play on FIFA 19 last year, not PES 2019.

Konami have also revealed that due to their 3D scanning technology, the player likenesses will be more accurate than ever before, as highlighted in these pictures below.

Konami have also confirmed that United midfielder Scott McTominay has become an eFootball PES ambassador.

Manchester United legend David Beckham will also be on PES 2020, after Konami confirmed that he will be available to play as a Manchester United Legend Player in-game.

It's unclear how this impacts on EA Sports FIFA, who have the full Premier League rights already, but may have lost the rights to have Old Trafford on the upcoming FIFA 20.

This will likely be the case, as Konami have a similar partnership with Spanish giants FC Barcelona, with Camp Nou available on PES 2019, which is not available on FIFA 19.

eFootball PES 2020 will be available on PlayStation®4, Xbox One™, and PC STEAM, on 10 September (Americas/Europe/Asia) / 12 September (Japan) with pre-orders now available for the Standard and Legend Editions.
