Manchester United and Man City Premier League title race - predict their final 10 fixtures

Do Manchester City have the Premier League title in the bag? Or can Manchester United chase them down?

City are in pole position with 10 fixtures remaining, and have a more than healthy 11-point lead over closest challengers United.

However, that advantage was cut by three points by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 's men on Sunday, as they triumphed 2-0 over their rivals at the Etihad Stadium.

Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring with an early penalty and Luke Shaw added a second in the 50th minute.

It was City's first defeat since November and ended a remarkable 21-match winning run in all competitions.

As for United, they are now unbeaten in 22 league outings away from home.

Pep Guardiola 's City side remain clear favourites to be crowned champions this season - but the weekend's result has at least made things interesting.

While casting an envious eye above them, United will also be focused on the battle to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League.

As it stands, they are just a point ahead of third-placed Leicester City and seven clear of fourth-placed Chelsea, who have a game in hand.

Everton are a point further back, with two games in hand, just ahead of Tottenham, West Ham and defending champions Liverpool.

United and City are also both still challenging for cup glory this term.

City lead 2-0 going into the second leg of their Champions League last 16 tie with Borussia Monchengladbach, and face Everton in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

They are also in the Carabao Cup final against Spurs at Wembley on April 25.

United have a two-legged Europa League last 16 tie against AC Milan to play this month, plus an FA Cup quarter-final showdown with Leicester.

City are next in Premier League action on Wednesday (March 10), at home to Southampton (6pm kick-off).

United, meanwhile, resume their league campaign against West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday (March 14, 7.15pm kick-off).
