Manchester United and Manchester City between them can boast more than £400million worth of talent, in a newly-published ' Premier League best XI by market value' released by KPMG's Football Benchmark tool.
Four players from the Manchester clubs feature in the XI, which has an aggregate value of €1.19billion.
At current exchange rates, this works out at around £1.06billion.
Two players feature from each Manchester side.
The most valuable of these is Manchester City's left-sided forward Raheem Sterling , who is valued at €131million (£117million) by Football Benchmark.
This is marginally above the €130million (£116million) rated Kevin de Bruyne, Sterling's team-mate, who features as part of a three-man midfield.
Joining the Belgian is Manchester United's Paul Pogba, valued at €128million (£114million).
Chelsea's N'Golo Kante (€90million; £81million) completes the midfield.
Finally, Manchester United's Harry Maguire - an £80million capture from Leicester City over the summer - is deemed one of the two most-valuable centre backs in the Premier League, alongside Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk.
The Yorkshireman is valued by Football Benchmark at €69million (£61million)
