Manchester United and Man City get combined £131million boost

Manchester City and Manchester United will round off the Premier League season with their fates already sealed.

Neither clubs can move from their first and second spots, which signifies a strong improvement from last season for both sides.

United take on Wolves at Molineux in their season finale, which will also be the last match of Nuno Espirito Santo's tenure, before heading to Gdansk for the Europa League final on Wednesday against Villarreal.

Pep Guardiola 's side welcome fans back to the Etihad Stadium for the visit of Everton as they finalise their preparations for the Champions League final next weekend against Chelsea.

With both clubs already secure of their final league position, it has been revealed how much prize money each club will be awarded.

For City, as league champions, they will collect a whopping £67.9million in rewards for their fine season, which could see them finish on 86 points.

United, meanwhile, will collect £64.5million for finishing as runners up.

With every club feeling the pinch of the pandemic, the extra Premier League prize pot could help to add funds for either clubs in the transfer market, ahead of a busy summer.
