Manchester United and Manchester City have had more of their fixtures amended for February as we head into 2022.
City and United fans will be more than familiar with their games being moved around on a regular basis, with the two sides regularly featuring in the selections for TV.
And February has proven no different, with Sky Sports announcing six new live games, including a couple of huge games for City and United.
Pep Guardiola’s side will now face Tottenham at 5.30pm on Saturday, February 19, with Antonio Conte bringing his resurgent side to the Etihad as they continue their push for a top four finish.
City will be looking to avenge their 1-0 defeat at the hands of Spurs on the opening day of the season as they continue the defence of their title.
United fans will no doubt be keeping a close eye on that game before they head to Leeds the following day, with their kick-off at Elland Road now moved to 2pm on Sunday, February 20.
The Reds will have happy memories of their last encounter with their Yorkshire rivals, having thrashed Marcelo Bielsa’s side 6-2 earlier this season — and it could be a changed United side on this occasion if Ralf Rangnick gets down to work during the January transfer window.
The following weekend sees City back on the Sky, with their trip to Merseyside to take on Everton being moved to 5.30pm on Saturday, February 26.
The latest announcement sees more fixtures added to the games already selected for television for the two clubs.
United have had three games selected in 2022 so far, while City have had five games picked by Sky Sports and BT for the New Year.
